Number of Indonesians ending life during hajj reaches 444

The number of Indonesians who died in the Holy Land while making the hajj pilgrimage this year by 8.12 am local time or 12.12 am West Indonesia Standard Time (WIB) on Saturday reached 444, official data showed.
Most of them or 290 died due to circulation system problem.
"A total of 417 of the deceased were performing hajj under the regular hajj pilgrimage services while 27 others under the first-class pilgrimage services (ONH-Plus)," Evi Al Hudhori of the computerized data at the Integrated Hajj Services office of the Religious Affairs Ministry in Saudi Arabia, said here on Saturday.
She said that the types of disease suffered by the hajj pilgrims were respiratory problem (111), blood membrane (13), infection and parasite, and nutritional endocrine and mental problems respectively 9, and neoplasm five persons.
Most of the deceased c(78), Bekasi (51), Jakarta (48) and Makassar (30).
Most of them aged 60 years old reaching 327 persons, followed by those age 50-59 (95), 40-40 (20) and below 40 (2).
Up to now, the number of Indonesian hajj pilgrims who have returned home has reached 100,770, or 50.46 percent of the total number of Indonesian hajjs who will arrive in Indonesia numbering 199,693. (dar)
